That would render his announcement practically worthless then.

You are correct, I doubt he will ever contribute at the college level unless he changes his attitude.

Dyer is a complete badass and it would be great for him to be a Razorback, but if he don't want to be, frick him. I trust BMFP.  helme

Pretty much said it word for word.  Good for Auburn, I think.  Better there than here.

This entire episode has to remove the circus/disfunctional description from Arkansas athletics for a while.  We had our problems but we never had a season that started with a number 4 ranking and ended with the klan marching through campus.

Quote
I wanted to get it over with,” said Dyer, who had considered waiting until after the season to make the decision. “I wanted to commit, so people knew there was a school I was into.”

Is this kid worth all the drama he seems intent on generating?

He's 19.

In other words, take Knile Davis, NEXT YEAR, and put him in AAAA Arkansas high school football.

I think he's good, but I see shiftier version of DJ. I don't think he starts over DJ, Wingo, and Davis.

As good as K. Davis and Wingo are, if you watch the film, it's not even close.

I've seen it.

Wingo and especially Davis didn't run against linebackers that are lucky to approach 180 pounds and a 4.8 forty.

Additionally, Wingo and Davis weren't a year (or two) older than every player on the field. Davis was 17, and just turned 18. When he's 19, he'll be a sophomore competing for a starting spot at an SEC school. Dyer is running over 17 year old kids in a weak classification in Arkansas high school football.

His film ought to be damn impressive.

But let me be clear - I think he's very, very good and would contribute early. Just like I think Wingo and Davis are very very good, and have contributed early.

Dyer has had plenty of film available since his sophomore year, and you see stuff even back than that is pretty rare. I'm very impressed with Davis and Wingo, I just think it would be a big loss to miss out on Dyer.

He was just on the Buzz and you could barely understand the idiot.  I am glad he's going to Auburn.  There is way too much drama associated with him.
