Are they going to send us maroon jerseys for media day again?

I forgot which year we had Nike this past decade.

I think it was 01. What brand was it when we had the red pants and white tops for our away unis?

That was Nike, we wore those in the 7OT game at Ole Miss.

I liked Adidas b/c they actually made gear you could go out and buy as opposed to zero Nike shwag.  I still don't trust Nike after they fricked up our unis that one year.  Seemed like a shitty marriage there for awhile.

If they will pimp our gear like they do Texas, UNC, Florida, Bama, and USC I'm all for it. Most people, players included, prefer the swoosh.

No aMm, but do you really think they'll promote our gear like that?

I hated the red cuffs on the white away jerseys they did as well as adding all the black to the numbers.  If they can just get aMm back to the plain days maybe with a couple of red stripes on white pants then bring it on.

Can we switch to Spotbilt?

I was hoping for Spaulding so we might could get those shoes with the kickass interchangeable colors.

Red cuffs (not a fan) and black outline on the numbers (which was an improvement, IMO) appears to be Adidas, not Nike.

And yes, I do like the red pants, especially on the away uniforms.  I would prefer a different stripe than the one on them currently - either a double white or a white version of the angled half stripe from the '99 uniforms.  But really, just win games and let the kids wear what they want with a red helmet.

Right. Those aren't synonymous with one brand or another. We didn't have outlines during the 05-07 style, and those were Adidas.

Boobie:  When I'm knocking somebody out, it's going to be in black Nikes.

Christian:  What kinda shoes you wear don't matter.  I'll knock you out in a pair of flip flops.

If we do, and hopefully we WILL, switch back to nike, please dont send us the pants we had during the DMAC era with the two stripes on the pants so we can look exactly like Oklahoma, Wisconsin, and a handful of other schools in the country with the same colors.  I would say go back to the thick single stripe like late 90's and early 2000's with clint and a lucas..and make the hog on the sleeve of the tops big like it used to be right now its small as a pimple

The ones I was talking about, from that 7OT game, were Nike....

I am a student at the U of A and a football player confirmed to me that next year we will have Nike everything. Coach P's request!!

Also, Georgia and North Carolina do use nike baseball equipment. Check out the college world series and you will find it to be true. I agree though that Nike baseball stuff sucks.

There is a reason schools have stripes like that...it looks awesome.

Georgia used Nike bats 2 years ago but did switch to Easton last year. Not sure if it's a permanent switch or not.

I thought a UNC fan on the rivals board has said that UNC wouldn't use Nike bats but I could be wrong.

We had the pants with two stripes before OU.  Jim Mackenzie took them over there when he left Arkansas to become OU's head coach back in the mid 60's.
