This was how many of his shows turned out:

That's been slowed down. I can tell from the pixels.

"The Blues Man" and "OD'd in Denver" are two of my favorite songs.  Dudes got talent.  He just don't always show it.
Regular guy.

That's me.

Yep. Fake News.
There's a reason MNF is bringing him back - talent, big football fan, excitement, and tons of fans - perfect for the intro.

I thought it was because of NFL players' fondness for "If the South Woulda Won We'd Have It Made".

There in lies his biggest problem.

I agree when he wants to produce good music he can. The reverse is when he gets lazy he produces absolute crap. That doesn't even touch on the late, drunk, no show concerts.

Can the NBC Sunday night football theme be trashed then?  I hate it.

They also love "If Heaven Ain't A Lot Like Dixie."

I liked the old one.  Don't care for the new one.

Is it a ploy to get viewers back after pretty much alienating anyone that watched since the beginning?  All of their content and shows are geared toward a completely different audience that just didn't tune in.  Too little too late.

I miss the days Sportscenter was a must each night.  I use to watch after a win for our highlights and it would usually be the other team scoring on us.
