Holy cow, I'm glad I didn't start a new contract and stuck with the unlimited data plan I had.  I've had this thing less than a week and it says I've downloaded 3.5 GB of data  Cheesy

That can't be right. The most I have ever used in a month is 300MB. No way you could have downloaded 3.5GB in less than a week.

Couldn't tell if you were joking.  But mine carried over my usage stats from my old phone.

Since I'm lazy, imagine me attaching a picture of Johnny Carson with text at the bottom that reads, "I did not know that."

Really, I had no clue.  That's good to know. Grin

Other than being able to use Pandora in the background now I'm not seeing much earth shattering about OS 4.0.  Am I missing something?

Not really. I am having some issues that need fixing. First a lot of music didn't make the switch- like a sing will play and then a 20 second silence will be in the middle.

My biggest gripe is the proximity sensor issue. Unlike my old iPhones, this one is constantly bringing up the screen next to my face causing me to mute and hold calls accidentally.

My phone hangs up on every call that I don't use the speaker phone.

Apple has released a software update to address the supposed antenna problem.

Will check on software update this evening. Proximity issue was helped by resetting all settings, but mainly by pulling part of my skinit off since I'm a dumas.

Still wondering why I have gaps in my music.

I have a 3GS.  Downloaded 4.01.  I can't say I've noticed anything.  Should I?

The first reception bar is taller.  You spent at least 10 minutes of your day to have a taller first bar.

You can make "folders" on the main screen to group your apps together.  I find that a lot better than scrolling through 4 or 5 screens to find what I'm looking for.  You can also set your wallpaper to be seen all the time, rather than just when the phone is locked.  Your e-mail boxes are also unified, so you can just click one button to check all your new e-mails for all your accounts at once, rather than going into the first, backing out, going into the second, backing out, etc.

Minor changes, but I *really* like the folder thing for your apps.

Supposedly there is a jailbreak coming out soon, if you're into that sort of thing.

All that it does is make your iphone 4 unjailbreakable using the current method.

That, and fix the PDF exploit that allowed Jailbreakme.com to hack the previous versions.
