Worst one, to me, is the 2-4 record against Kentucky. That one just still doesn't make sense to me.
I am not claiming I am right, I am saying I don't get it.
I updated my initial post in this thread to include the 2011 SEC results.
We were well on our way to an SEC championship several years ago, until Urban Meyer looked across the field at the other coach and thought, "it's 4th and 14 from our own 14, but their coach is such a dumas that I think we can pull off a fake here." Which of course he did, which then led to Reggie Fish trying to field a subsequent punt on the 3 fricking yard line. You know the rest....
One of those wins was Tim Couch throwing to the EZ for a tie in the last minute and the other win was the 7OT job @ KY. If they don't jump offsides on 4th down at the 1 in the 6th OT they score a TD and win that one. Boy I'll tell ya....we are a couple plays away from being 0-6 vs the Cats.
That screencap reminds me...Whatever happened to Crosby Tuck?
Never came back after the broken arm. Got a med. RS, practiced again in Spring of '08, but he didnt make the 2 deep. I think I remember him quitting shortly after that to pursue studies or something like that.
Mama was definitely not a fan of BMFP's coaching style on the practice field.
Almost wish I hadn't read this thread. If you just look at the numbers, HDN does not look all that bad. I hate the sound of that.
Almost wish I hadn't read this thread. If you just look at the numbers, Hootie does not look all that bad. I hate the sound of that.
Cheer up old boy, there's always the next two decades.
