love watching tiger fail
The game of golf owes Tiger Woods for making it relevant in sports. Before Tiger Woods I never heard anyone say "I have got to watch golf this weekend". The game of golf may not be, but the sport of golf is better because of Tiger. Golf will always be golf but as a marketable product, Tiger is king.I wish he would roid up one more time and break all the major records.
" could care less", or " could not care less " ?Which one is it ?
Wrong. Golf was completely relevant when Jack, Arnie, Gary, Tom, and Johnny were having battles.
What was the last year one of them had a showdown? 80's? I honestly don't remember but that kind of proves the point. Tiger had every Tom, Dick, and Tyrone out on the driving range trying. Before that it was for wealthy white guys.
He's 3 under through 5 this morning
Even now thru 7. Took a double on a par 3 and a bogey on a par 4.
That back nine he started on must be brutal.
Resonance...metal folding chairs or hard tile floors cannot be beaten when it comes to firing off a loud fart.
Nicklaus as busting 300 yard drives with a balata ball, persimmon head and a steel shaft and understood the he wasn't bigger than the game. Nobody can say that last part about Tiger with a straight face.
Now at +6, complete with 3 double bogeys. This guy is done. Maybe he'll be a good senior PGA player in 15 years.
He increased the size of the purses
I think it has to be the whole leg and not just pieces.
Finished at +7. He'll probably struggle to make the cut. As much ast it pains me to say, I think the sport is better off with Tiger being competitive. I will be happy if he never wins again, but its much more interesting with him contending at tourneys.
Playoff between Justin Dufner and Keegan Bradley. These guys really move the needle.
