What if we had these unis... i really love the white helmet...

I don't care for any of it. I'd like for us to have PC unis, but I don't like these designs. The white helmet is a Boise St ripoff.

"The University of Michigan is on line four."

Navy's is the best overall and they ought to think about just making that their permanent helmet. Looks sharp.

That Arkansas mockup comes pretty close to violating the "BYU two-tone Rule."

These undershirts are kinda neat, with the 'Dont tread on me'.  Quite a bit of historical significance there and looks kinda cool if you know what it means.  They even left out the ', which is kinda cool too.

Also, I want to have sex in and around your mouth. Please tell me you're in central Arkansas so we can meet up.  I'm not hard to find.

Easy for Nike, as they've been doing loads of the stuff with DTOM for US Soccer.

Two years ago when they wore them against us the jerseys said "cochon de lait".

And that at least made some sense, as it was calling out the specific opponent.  But "Rules of Fall" is set up for about a dozen jokes, starting with "Rulers of FAIL" and working your way up the comedy-effort scale.

they can do whatever they want with the uniforms, but the helmet is off limits.  It's untouchable.  It is easily the most recognized helmet in all of college football.

the red, white, and blue decal on saturday was fitting, but as a one time deal.  The white helmet is nice, and i would like to have one to add to my collection, but i NEVER want to see it on a player on our sidelines.

Agreed with all of this except the most recognized helmet part.  Michigan's is probably the most recognized one but Arkansas' helmet is continually listed in top 10 best helmet lists.  Again though, don't frick with the Hog on the helmet.

1958 - 1963

1964 - 1966

1967 - 1977

January 2, 1978 - 1994

1995 - 2000

2001 -

September 10, 2011

Arkansas modified the razorback logo slightly for the 2001 season; you can see some minor differences particularly around the hog's front shoulder.

*1 White facemasks were first used in the Orange Bowl game against Oklahoma at the end of the 1977 season.

*2 The razorback decal was enlarged slightly but noticeably in 1995.

*3 Worn during the 2011 home game against New Mexico

frick Michigan.
I don't recognize their helmet.  I had to googleize it
to be sure what it looked like.  I think Mavrick or Goose or Icepick had one in that airplane movie, and it had a better facemask.

I would like to have the white one to wear when I'm driving around town.
Regular guy.

If that red helmet is nonmetallic cardinal I like it.  Don't like the white.  Don't like red fricking pants; we're not fricking Iowa state.  I don't like white on home uniform jerseys, especially the wife beater look.  Jerry has used that with cowboys special unis and it is a sucky look.  Extra red on the away uni is fine.    Don't want no tramp stamp on the butt band.  I want bigass numbers with thin black outlines so they pop on tv.

It looks like the Matrix had sex with the unis from Any Given Sunday and this was what came out of the womb.

Those aren't really new uniforms, they're special uniforms...like our patriotic hog. They do it one game every year now it seems, and several other schools do too. I think it's kinda cool for them to do.

True, I wasn't thinking about the big picture of the whole thread...you and your semantics and facts.  :D

I just meant if they were their "new" uniforms they were going to wear all the time I would agree on the "jeebus," but for one game for what is probably a good cause, I don't think they're so bad.

But that's the funny thing about uniform talk, it's all just opinions anyway and everyone's is going to be different.

True about opinions...we've seen a bunch here in this thread.

I think the problem, for me, is that for the most part these new uniform designs shoot for a big impact. And it's hard to make a big impact with subtle changes. I liked the patriotic hog on the helmets...not too drastic. Subtle changes don't generate nationwide interest (good or bad)...and more interest means more people see that Under Armor or Nike logo...which is the whole point.
