This guy stands by his story...lord know USAHOGFAN would never lie...
I am not claiming I am right, I am saying I don't get it.
This is exactly where we are at, dead on: To everyone that is hushing the Gruden talk, stop it, there IS a deal in place...
asked people to call him Tweeder. As in Charlie Tweeder from Varsity Blues.
Larry Porter out at Memphis per Joe Schad.
I can't see Hootie going to Memphis knowing that they'll have to play money games against SEC teams. I don't think his pride would allow it.
Why not? He's already got the built in excuses, "best conference in America", "I coached there 14 years", "The Firm makes it so hard to recruit here".
Dale spotting in Memphis.http://nafoom.yuku.com/topic/41995/Mr. Golden Parachute-sighting-in-East-Memphis#.TtOCBdXNmuEBTW, the Nafoomers are very sensitive to the fact we were right all along. Pointing that out to them is guaranteed to get a rise, along the likes of 'go frick your sister'. Nop real argument anymore, and they don't like being reminded THEY were the dumbasses.
Yeah, we're just obsessed with Nutt according to them.No humor in them getting fucked over exactly like we told them they would, no. None at all.Only thing funnier would be him taking the Memphis job and trying to steal their recruits. credit for players that might excel under anyone with actual coaching ability in the next few years.
stupid question, but in his buyout clause is there any stipulation about taking another job? You know, sometimes that will exist. May have been discussed before & I missed it. if So off with the porkula in the screen door.
GeorgeSchroeder George Schroeder Houston Nutt is now a candidate at UCLA, Arizona State, Illinois, Memphis, and anywhere else the AD picks up the phone.
Nope he gets the full $6 million no matter what he does.
If you analyze the geography involved, his past stops as a head coach form a pretty obvious pattern. I see him more likely to end up in the Rust Belt or Pacific Northwest, based on these trends. Eastern Canada is, theoretically speaking, in the mix as well.
