As near as I can tell, it's best not to frick with folks from Montana.

You look our Montana and Montana State fans in the eye!

Montana opened Washington-Grizzly Stadium in 1986 and they have a 142-20 home record there since then.

There's apparently a big stink in Montana over the fact that ESPN, which owns the rights to all the FCS playoff games, is only airing the first two rounds on ESPN3.  Both Montana and Montana State are in the playoffs and, apparently, a lot of people in Montana don't have access to internet providers that carry ESPN3.

Angry Montanans.

I do sorta agree with the folks from Montana.  My home internet provider (Aristotle) doesn't carry ESPN3 and I'd like to watch the UCA-Montana game this weekend on TV.

Having worked for 3 months in Montana before, I can attest to the fact they don't have access to any damn thing.

I was stuck on an Indian Reservation in Browning. I didn't have cell service, internet, nor cable while there. Antenna picked up 3 static channels. And I mean STATIC. I had my cell phone forwarded to to the apt phone. If I needed to call long distance I had to use a calling card. I couldn't leave that place fast enough.

No, it's still there, moved to something called Den of Iniquity.
Up to 31 pages of Arkansas hate now.

Hiding that thread seems to indicate they have at least a little understanding on how crazy they are.  I've heard that knowing you have a problem is the first step to getting help

I've yet to meet 100% A-State fans.
Lucky you. A weird little bunch for sure.

Probably should've put this in this thread, so I'll post it here too.

Looks as if the ASU fans are up in arms over Hugh Freeze's probable exit to Ole Miss.

ASU is like the Ugandan Space Agency. Even if they did manage to find a competent scientist to run it and got the funding, he would end up embezzling that money and fleeing to South Africa to spend it on hookers and blow.

They had fewer than 10,000 attend the last game of their best season.

Their board has become something interesting to read lately during a boring lull in Hogball.

How much money was we going to offer freeze? And are we willing to commit the same amount to a new coach?

Why? They don't appear to give a aMm about their football program, only about blaming the Razorbacks for everything that's wrong in their miserable lives.

We regularly have more fans at Baum for a baseball game than they have at Shitbird Stadium for football games.

LSU fans are tres gauche.

I saw on a post where an ASU fan said they averaged over 20,000 per game this year, so I went and looked at the numbers.

They played six home games and had 29,000+ for Memphis and 27,000+ for UCA.  The other 4 were Sun Belt games, and in only one of those did they top 20,000 (against ULL), and that was just barely over 20,000 (less than 21,000).

I'm not one to bash ASU left and right, but since this was their best season in at least 25 years, one would think it would've led to a steady increase in attendance there this season, but that just wasn't the case.  It almost seems as if the more they were winning, the fewer people actually came to the games.  Weird.

I think they should go after Paul Petrino. If they do, they might finally back into that beat down from us that they so badly covet.

Hugh Freeze cited Jeremiah 29:11-14 in his decision to leave ASU and take the Ole Miss job.

Jeremiah 29:11-14
New International Version (NIV)

11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you,” declares the LORD, “and will bring you back from captivity.  I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you,” declares the LORD, “and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile.”

So, is Freeze saying that ASU/Jonesboro was his place of exile, and that by going to Oxford he's being delivered from his place of captivity?

Yes, that is what he said.

I look forward to live coverage of his first animal sacrifice to the lawd who delivered him.

however, any god that delivers his followers to the "promised land" of Mississippi is no god of mine.

I enjoy parsing of people's Biblical quotes.

Especially when said parsing reveals such a delicious gaffe.

This goofball is liable to douse himself in Annointing Oil or some such aMm by the bust of Dickie Mullins before his first kickoff.
