Fifth year Seniors on the OL.  We'll see a tremendous difference.  There were times this year that every stunt the other team ran worked.  Our poor youngsters on the OL just couldn't pick them up.  This ends with experience, obviously.

I was wondering where Snorts got the 5th year Seniors idea from...

That line looks pretty damn solid to me.

That interior line is going to be pretty salty by the end of next season.  Starkville, the whole line should be improved.  Knile and Tyler will benefit.

Just check the participation charts:
Stringer played in the first three games but no others.  Still a Redshirt?

Fisher did not play at all.

Peacock seemed to have a lot of holding calls this year.

He had a wide variety of penalties.  A few holds a few false starts.  One  brutal facemask. He was consistent on getting one or two a game. But as a whole he was pretty solid.  He is a mean, nasty OL.  I like him on the field.  I bet next year he is a monster.

Think he's coming down with mono.

In my business the biggest challenge is finding young job candidates who if they will actually work, can construct an English sentence, perform simple algebraic logic, and can accept criticism to their fragile, public school induced, soccer mom polished, self-esteem.  Failure is the best teacher in life, and the best separator of the herd.  It's not surprising our schools have become this factory of failure; they are run by this cesspool of bruised egos, social misfits, and weak-spined socialists that were marginalized in high school and failed in real life.

I think the OL did a pretty great job of avoiding penalties this season.  I'd be willing to be that, combined on the year, they got less penalties than Dominguez did last year.

That's actually what MCL stands for. MononuCleosus Ligament

used in a sentence:

anytime we want a redo on a redshirt we force them to tear their Mono muscles.

Although not a Redshirt, "the beast" committed last night  (he's a juco).

Think Robert Thomas but bigger and stronger.

After watching Robert Thomas play this year, I would prefer that we not recruit anyone that compares to him.

Reminds me of when Nolan called Larry Satchell a "poor man's Lee Wilson".

Umm, no thanks.

I saw a stat someone posted...we had the fewest sacks per pass/most passes per sack in the SEC.  Our OL did OK.  It just galls me that we can't run the ball early in the year.  This weren't just this year, it has been all 4 years of BMFP.

Oh, and them Mormons, they send off their people on these missionary trips/positions, and they return as old farts, and start on the OL for BYU.  Or they used to do that.  I thought it was a heck of a system.

I wouldn't give up on Robert Thomas just yet.

He had some of the best practices I've ever seen out of a Razorback. Sure, they're practices. But he's got the ability. For whatever reason it didn't translate to the game. But he's got two more years and I'd be surprised if he doesn't get a lot better.

Ima have to agree with this.

I am not saying the talent levels are the same with this comparrison, but i remember a QB named casey dick, and what he accomplished under the former staff, and what one fu king year of being coached by an evil coaching genius could do.  He actually got to try out for an NFL team, after being a mid-level hander offer for three years.
