There was another reporter on the BUZZ today.  He's the one who kind of mumbles and sounds down all the time, don't remember the name but he was really fricking dogging BMFP about not showing up on his show.  What is up with this contingent of Arkansas media who are busting on BMFP?  It sounds like they are holding a personal grudge.

They think that they're the "press" and entitled to "access" and "soundbites."  When they don't get it they whine and moan like little kids.  It happens in politics and it happens in sports.  Journalists are puthy-bitches, historically speaking.

Whoever that was, frick'em.  BMFP couldn't give two shits less about this twat.  I'd rather have a badass DC than a night of all you can eat catfish and hush puppies.  There's always next Wednesday.

Houston Nutt kissed their asses and let them have free run of the football program for 10 years and now there's a coach who could not care less about the state media and making sure their feelings don't get hurt.  But it's not just the state media, national media is same thing.  Nutt went out of his way to kiss the asses of folks like Tim Brando so they would always talk good about him and now they don't get that.

I wholeheartedly agree with this.  It drives me crazy to listen to them bitch & moan.  Entitled and pompous.

Was it Jim Harris?

I don't remember but his voice was recognizable.  He's not a radio guy and not one of the younger ones.  I think he is associated with that 360 site so it could have been him.  If I heard the voice again I would know it.

Edit- Yes it was him, I found a youtube video with him.  Is he anti- Petrino or something?  Came off like a whining prick who knows that he wont be getting any exclusives.

Jim Harris has been wearing out The Col. for years now, beginning when the Col was still here.

For whatever that's worth.

I would hate to lose Smith, as he seemed very happy being given extra time with the special teams. Our return game has been stellar

Any praise of the assistants back then was for BP. They were his caretakers. He was micro-manageing the whole thing.

Smith is no different in that with a head coach telling everyone what to do...he looks dare I say competent.

Very few had a clue how bad we were as a staff and what we had coming back. It's obvious we had no off season. If bullshit walks...we must have several thousand miles on us.
