NCAA conf championship week football
« on: December 01, 2011, 09:10:12 PM »
WVA is trying to give this away to skip holtz' boys from USF.

Dana Holgerson looks like bobcat golthwait.  I can see him screaming at the presses afterwards.

WVa up 13-10 in the 3rd.
You only have to be the best team today.

Good grief these teams ain't that good.  Just think, due to the conference limits, WV could sneak into a BCS bowl with a win tonight.  It's not UCONN bad but still, it's pretty terrible.

What a catch.

2 illegal sub penalties on USF this drive? Awful

They will end up the first 6-8 team in college football.

This conference has a lot of chaos around it with the champ.  If Cincy loses, Louisville goes.  (head to head vs WV)  If Cincy wins, Louisville goes (3 way tie, highest BCS is champ).  Its like our scenario before the LSU game, except without all of the talent, drama & media hype.  WVA would be a better rep for the big least tho, since they are 9-3.

I think it's clever that ESPN ran a Texas League Championship logo across their screen when talking about this weekend's games.

Really ESPN?  Really?

The bar for legitimacy gets lower and lower.
The problem is that we all too often have socialism for the rich and rugged free enterprise capitalism for the poor.

Thirded.

Neuheisel fired after leading UCLA back to the Rose Bowl; that would be the best of lulz.

Neuheisel fired after leading defaulting UCLA back to the Rose Bowl because of USC's ineligibility; that would be the best of lulz.

It's better than Louisville getting the Big East bid, which will happen if UCONN beats Cincinnati tomorrow.

UCLA just aMm themselves on the first possession. Fumbled the ball without being touched by an Oregon defender.

Fox needs to either tone down the stadium sound or crank the commentators' volume up.
Let's get rid of that dogbone-shaped logo of ours, bring back the old school 'A' with the Hog running through it, and start kicking people's asses again.

Championship game not at a neutral site is kind of odd.  Wouldn't matter in this one though, Oregon is gonna roll big.
