Showed him in the locker room wearing his Hogs T-shirt.  Maybe someone should send him a Woopig one.

Crowd calling the hogs between round 1-2.  Nothing horribly exciting so far, but Taylor looks decent.

Round 4: Blood coming from the nose of Nicklow.  Taylor throwing a lot more punches and landing 77%.

Taylor deducted point for slugging dude after bell.  Hoping to avoid late rounds it appears.

he better save that energy.  punches in rounds 8-10 don't grow on trees...unless your name is jermain and by trees i mean punches are limbs and they're put on your face.

I don't think the crowd likes the decision to stop the fight.

first sign of trouble for Nicklow and fight is stopped.  Nicklow runs around chasing Jermain in the cage.. presumably telling him that the next 2 rounds would be the end of Mr. Taylor.

Jermain looked pretty decent.  But the fight answered none of the questions you would've liked to have seen answered, namely:

1)  Does Jermain have any gas (I don't mind not having this answered if it had been the result of a 2nd round KO)?
2)  Does Jermain have the power in his hands to knock the elite middleweights out?
3)  Does Jermain have the chin to take hard punches and impose his will?

The fight stoppage was at the very least questionable.  But I honestly could care less because Jermain should've had this guy out on the mat by the end of Round 3.  At least that would've answered one of the above questions.  Nicklow doesn't have the power to allow the third question to be answered.  And I'm not sure we really want to see the first question answered if at all possible.  I will say this:  Jermain's jab looked real good tonight.  At one point, I saw him throw 7 straight jabs.  And saw him fire off as many as 4 in quick succession.  I guess us fans of Jermain will just have to hope that his lack of appropriate aggression (in my opinion) was a result of him needing and wanting the time in the ring, and not his inability to get an obviously out-classed opponent the frick off of his feet.

JT hurt his right hand early. He stunned whitey and was about to crush him. Looked decent. Jab looked great. They almost stopped it between 4 and 5 cause dudes nose was caved in.

JT needed rounds and according to him he stung his right hand early, accounting for the lack of right hands he threw.  So instead he just caved the guy's nose in with his jab.  I'm not too concerned that he couldn't put Nicklow on the canvas considering the guy had been down once in career and KO'd once in his career.  He served his purpose of being a live punching bag for JT to get some rounds against.

his use of the jab was great, and with hurting his right he rarely used it.
