I'm now counting down to the putting up of the counter that counts down to the putting up of the counter that counts down to kick-off.

Hold your breath.

Poor Rutgers. Irrelevant for so long and now they're on the cusp of losing Greg Schiano to the Bucs.

Damn: wrong thread and a minute late.  :dohh:

Might as well put it here instead of starting a new thread.  OKTC describes Alabama fans attack for the new year.

5. Arkansas

Two words.

Hog rape.

The most disturbing thing about this fan terrorist attack will be that the Alabama fan who is raping the hog mascot won't even be intending it as a terrorist attack. He'll just want to have sex with the hog.

Well, there's a hog in the uniform.  That depiction is about the only way I would even agree to putting black on.  The black is basically underwear not a part of the uni, except for the belt.

and the semi-stripe down the pants leg..

Change the pants to white, change the black stripe to red, and put a hog on the sleeve.  Then I love it.

Nice.

How did I do this?

I sniffed gasoline for an hour and then wrote "your gay" one hundred times in a row on an Auburn message board. Then I intentionally failed an online GED test.

Voila, I was a Bammer.

The A centering on the neckline - is that in case we miss the identical A in front of the RKANSAS inches below?

That uniform is just a design for teams buying Nike uniforms. It's just an example.

I swear. Every year it's the same aMm: the 'full retard uniform discussion'.

Tide in annual title contention.

Arkansas
Paul Haynes - Defensive Coordinator
Grade: B+
Haynes comes to Fayetteville from Ohio State, where he was co-defensive coordinator and coached defensive backs. The downside is that Haynes hasn’t had the keys to himself before; but that didn’t seem to be an issue in Arkansas’ Cotton Bowl win over Kansas State, where the Hogs gave up 87 rushing yards to the potent Wildcat attack that finished No. 29 in the nation in rushing offense. Even more impressive, that was accomplished with Haynes calling plays in the language of his own system and having the calls delivered through a translator that converted them to fit former defensive coordinator Willy Robinson’s system. The biggest thing that Haynes has going for him is that he’s not Robinson. That’s an upgrade for Arkansas.

Paul Petrino - Offensive Coordinator
Grade: B
What former Arkansas offensive coordinator Garrick McGee did last year with a young offensive line, no Knile Davis and Tyler Wilson at quarterback was very underrated. Losing Davis could have sent that team into a tailspin, but McGee’s offense thrived, and finished the season as the SEC’s No. 1 offense. Petrino’s offenses at Illinois weren’t spectacular, but the familiarity his brother Bobby Petrino and how he wants the offense to operate will be the most important factor. Besides, Bobby Petrino has his fingerprints all over that offense. As long as that’s the case, Arkansas will be fine.

I live near Branson, so I gave up bitching about traffic a long time ago. I'm not going to post pictures of my wife's tits and/or ass. And I've had about all the recruiting rumor I can digest. So that leaves the 2012 Arkansas Razorbacks Football team.

This past season we had two (maybe three) glaring weakness: (1) Our O-line resembled, most of the time, a wounded beer can. (2) Cornerbacks struggled in man-to-man coverage, or most any coverage for that matter. (3) We struggled mightily to stop a zone-read running attack.

Next season, emerging weaknesses could be (4) the wide receiving corps, and (5) our pass rush.

My thoughts:

(1) I think we're solid on the inside with Swanson, B. Cook, and Bailey. Can the T's rise to the occasion and hold off Bama & LSU's pass rush?
(2) I'm encouraged by the play of Tevin Mitchell, he proved last season, to me, that he's not going to shy away from 'the moment'. I'm hopeful that D. Winston will at last show a little pride and step up and be a leader'.
(3) I don't know what to do about this except hope that new defensive coordinator Paul Haynes can coach 'em up better than Ol' Willy.
(4) I'm not banking on the fact that 'football jesus' is going to sign that dotted line come Wednesday. I have some serious concerns about the WR corps. Cobi Hamilton, apart from two big plays against LSU, has never shown that he can be the #1 guy. Wade, Horton, Herndon and Funderburke all are unproven--to put it mildly.
(5) I keep hearing Trey Flowers, Trey Flowers, Chris Smith, Trey Flowers...get the frick outta here. I believe we have the physical talent to get the job done, but this unit is really going to have to step their game up.

I'm not a doomsayer. In my mind, these are some legitimate concerns moving forward. I hope the 'elite talent' we're supposed to have redshirting can step in and make a difference.

Phil has us at #9 preseason.

I really don't see how people keep putting Oregon in at number four.

They lost way more then we did, and yet people believe that they can just put on flashy uniforms and go out and play ball.

I do agree that USC is a top five because of schedule alone. Nobody in the PAC 12 should beat them.

But I just dont see Oregon as a top five.

One last thing. What happen the Boise. Moore leave and they fall off the face of the earth. Ha I love it. Hate them. Get in a real league.

And FSU ha. They used their good ranking very well this season.

In your mind, are you ranking them based on how good they are going to be or how they are going to finish?
