I am really surprised most aren't bitching about hiring big 10 coaches.  Looks good to me but be
Everyone is anti all things big 10 football

Maybe since Yankee coaches come from a disadvantaged background (i.e. Yankee football) there's some new program in place requiring everybody to hire a couple.

Getting all these guys from Ohio State reminds me of that old saying...

"If you can't beat 'em....hire all their fricking defensive coaches."

I hope 'Bama and LSU bring in some of the defensive coaches from Clemson.

I'm just relieved that we've finally hired a guy named "Taver." It's about damned time.

There still a lot of work to do until there are enough "Taver"s throughout the SEC.

Nigel:We don't literally say it.
David St. Hubbins: No, we don't say it.
Nigel: We don't really, literally mean it.

How many great coaches have Ohio backgrounds and have a B10 connection...I'll give you a hint (quite a few).

Nick Saban was:
Graduate of Kent State (Ohio)
D assistant at Kent State (Ohio)
DB's coach at tOSU (Ohio)
Head coach at Toledo (Ohio)
DB's coach at Michigan State (B10)
Head coach at Michigan State (B10)

Les Miles was:
Michigan player and GA and assistant later

Urban Meyer:
Born in Toledo, Ohio
TE coach at tOSU
WR coach at tOSU

I'm sure there are others, but you get the drift.  There have been some really decently good coaches come out of that neck of the woods and if we just nabbed two if them, great.

Kevin Steele was a pretty hot name a couple years ago.

So was Jerry Sandusky

YouR confused.  Their football teams are a step below the SEC, but not necessarily the assistant coaches.

I don't have a clue who this guy is, but dback play the #1 thing keeping us from being LSU or Alabama and has been since Orlando Green left.

In my business the biggest challenge is finding young job candidates who if they will actually work, can construct an English sentence, perform simple algebraic logic, and can accept criticism to their fragile, public school induced, soccer mom polished, self-esteem.  Failure is the best teacher in life, and the best separator of the herd.  It's not surprising our schools have become this factory of failure; they are run by this cesspool of bruised egos, social misfits, and weak-spined socialists that were marginalized in high school and failed in real life.

<sigh>  The Orlando Green defense..  the other teams could never figure it out.. what a weapon

Judging by the picture in the paper, and by what I can recall about the previous one, it looks like we went out and got ourselves a bigger Johnson.

Or has that comment already been made?

BMFP knows what he's doing.  Let one in and they will take over.   :abe:
