This is it. Today is the day when the Ice Hogs take on Alabama. Remember what's at stake: the Hogs are two points behind Alabama in the standings so a win tonight ties things up. Then, a win tomorrow secures the Hogs' third consecutive SEC-West regular season title. Bring a friend and get to the rink tonight at 7:30 pm!!

Oh, and there was some confusion with UATV. They were booked to stream tomorrow nights game, but misunderstood and didn't realize there is one tonight. As of 3 pm Arkansas time they were scrambling to get their gear set up. Here's to them pulling it off...

Hoping to make the drive up there tomorrow to see game 2. Would be my first hockey game - amazing how much more interest I have in all of this thanks to the Woopig jersey fundraiser. Awesome stuff.

Hogs were up 4-2 with 1 minute left when the Bama feed went off air. Lots of keep away in the 3rd period but the Ice Hogs were definitely not afraid to hit a motherfricker in the mouf.

It's $6 to get in, $2 for students. Not sure how much for kids.

Last night's game was INCREDIBLE. Best crowd I have ever seen at one of our games, it was absolutely packed. When the puck dropped the seating was full and there was still a long line of people waiting to get tickets. It ended up with tons of people standing behind the seating area, and the rink was completely ringed with fans, which made it pretty loud when they started beating on the glass.

Bama came out and thought they could push us around, which obviously didn't work because we aren't some crappy team. We went up 2-0 pretty easily. They backed off a little in the last two periods and started playing better. It was really a great game.

It got pretty chippy, and the refs were calling it pretty tight. Lots of penalty box time.

Should be another great crowd tonight.
