RC cola and a Moon Pie? Jerry Closer said you could break a trade embargo with a ship full of moon pies followed by a ship full of RC.
More evidence that Mizzou is a poor fit, culturally, in the SEC. Now, pass me a coke.https://tastyresearch.files.wordpress.com/2006/10/popvssodamap.png
WTF Boone County?
Never realized how few/how big of counties some of those western states have. Woopig. The giver of knowledge.
RC cola and a Moon Pie? Jerry Clower said you could break a trade embargo with a ship full of moon pies followed by a ship full of RC.Edit: damn autocorrect
Booger County and Newton County: no data. They hung up when asked about "coke".Lot of injun res and government land.
How do you know Booger County?
I'm referring to Madison in AR. I think there's some like Christian, Stone and Barry in MO that might be called Booger up there, too.Mean doin's in Madison back in the 70s-80s. Sheriff suspicioned to be killed, stuff like that.I like reading about the folk vernacular; and bullshitting with old timers.
Booger County is specifically Eastern Douglas County is Southern MO, the purple one.
Gimme a liter of Cola!
I would love to read some history behind what makes that map what it is. For example, why such an huge number of "soda" drinkers in the St Louis and significant surrounding area? I assume there's a correlation somehow to the Mississippi River. Also, Wisconsin. There could almost be a border war there.aMm like this interests me.
Map also reflects the ma-zur-rah vs ma-zoo-ree split. Wifey is from ma-zur-rah and will quickly correct anyone who says it wrong.
Oh god. It's Missour-ee. The Missourah aMm has been adopted by the flatlanders (North of I-44, of course). It's especially bad in politicians who try to gain some type of 'rural cred'. It's the most vile of many vile things about my adopted home state.
