Whatever you can say about Howard Cosell, he was not a racist. An elitist, certainly. Howard was an attorney in NYC and very involved in civil rights law, and was more responsible for the "rehabilitation" of Muhammad Ali than anyone.

Interesting. I wonder if this is similar to how some people say the term "yard apes" and are referring to young kids (of any color) but some get all up in arms about it.

I think its been discussed here, but I'm too lazy to search so deal with it.

I'm good with that. I call my youngest "a little monkey" and he's caucasian. Actually his two brothers are as well.
