Time to get our first series win of the season.

The Hogs will start the day with sophomore righty Ryne Stanek on the mound. Last season Stanek had a 4-2 record in 15 appearances with a 3.94 ERA, while opponents hit .213 against him. Nova will be sending out their own sophomore right-hander in Pat Young. He made 6 starts in 14 appearances last season and earned a 2-2 record. He finished the season with an ERA of 5.28. One notable stat is that he only gave up one home run out of the 215 batters he faced.

Sciacca pops out to Reynolds in foul ground near home plate. 2 outs.

I'm having the same sound issues with Razorvision. The audio only link is working, so I've got 2 feeds going... The video feed with no sound and the sound feed with no video. If that makes sense. Oh, now someone is calling a fax machine. Wonderful.

Fleishman at the plate. Schrenk tries to steal 2nd and Reeves throws him out easily! That was nice to see. Inning over.

Bigham flies out to right. 1 out.

Reynolds flies out to the wall in left center. Everyone thought that was gone, wow. Wind knocked it down. 2 outs.

Ficociello draws a walk.

Bates singles into right and Ficociello goes 1st to 3rd! Runners on the corners, 2 outs.

Bosco at the plate. Bates left first too early, they had him in a rundown, and ended up throwing Ficociello out at home as he tried to score. Inning over.

Fleishman grounds sharply to short, but the throw was low and Ficociello couldn't dig it out.

Jones lines out to center. 1 out.

Wager lines one to Reynolds at third, he makes the catch, and doubles up Fleishman at first! Awesome play. Inning over.

Bosco draws a leadoff walk.

Vinson flares a single into left. Runners on 1st and 2nd.

Morris lays down a bunt between the mound and 3rd and everybody is safe! Bases loaded, nobody out.

Reeves rips a double down the 1st base line and 2 runs score! 2-0 Hogs! Runners on 2nd and 3rd, 0 outs.

Carver grounds out to short. 1 down.

Bigham grounds to short, the 1st baseman missed the throw and Morris scores! 3-0 Hogs! That was a good throw, the 1st baseman just missed it. 2nd and 3rd, 1 out.

Reynolds walks on 4 pitches. Bases loaded for Ficociello, who is looking for his first hit of the season.

Ficociello at the plate. Wild pitch and Reeves scores! 4-0 Hogs! Now 2nd and 3rd.

Ficociello grounds out sharply to 2nd. Bigham scores, Reynolds to 3rd. 2 outs. 5-0 Hogs.

Bates at the plate. Another wild pitch and Reynolds scores! 6-0 Hogs!

Nova's catcher is terrible. These pitches are just in the dirt and he can't block them.

Bates grounds out to short. Inning over.

Hogs lead 6-0 after 2.

Top 3rd

Rambaud draws a walk.

Cialone K's swinging. 1 out.

Zech at the plate and the ball either hit his hand or the bat. Zech took off for first like it hit his hand, but the umpire said it hit his bat. Crowd is starting to get on this umpire now. Might be squeezing Stanek a little.

Zech pops up to Bigham in shallow center behind 2nd base. 2 outs.

Calbi lines out to Morris in center. Inning over.

Bottom 3rd

Not overly impressed with today's air guitar contestants.

Bosco singles up the middle.

Vinson grounds to 2nd, they step on the bag for one, but somehow couldn't turn the double play. That was set up perfectly. Runner on 1st, 1 out.

Morris at the plate. Another pitch in the dirt gets away from the catcher and Vinson moves to 2nd.

Morris got out. Missed it while i was getting some Wheat Thins. 2 down.

Jones lines a single into center. They held the runner at 3rd and they're lucky they did because Morris just threw a laser to the plate from center. Would've been out easily. Bases loaded, 1 out.

Wager lines one to left center and Vinson makes a nice running catch. Runner at third tags up and scores. 2 outs. 6-1 Hogs.

Carver draws a leadoff walk.

Bigham at the plate. Carver steals 2nd and once again it's not even close. That's his 4th steal of the season.

Bigham singles into center and Carver scores from 2nd. 7-1 Hogs!

Reynolds at the plate. Another wild pitch in the dirt gets by the catcher and Bigham moves to 2nd.

Reynolds walks. Pitching change for the Wildcats with runners on 1st and 2nd and nobody out. New guys is senior righty Jerry Battipaglia.

Ficociello flies out to deep left. Bigham tags up at 2nd and advances to 3rd. Runners on the corners, 1 out.

Bates at the plate. Reynolds steals 2nd.

Bates flies out to center. Bigham tags up at 3rd and scores. The third baseman couldn't handle the throw and that allows Reynolds to go third. Runner at 3rd, 2 outs. 8-1 Hogs.

Bosco K's looking. Inning over.

Hogs lead 8-1 after 4.

Stanek hit the 70 pitch mark last inning so he's done for the day. Junior lefty Cade Lynch is taking over on the mound.

Cialone skies one over foul ground down the first base line and Bigham makes a tricky catch for the out. 1 down.

Calbi walks. That's 4 walks given up by Stanek and Lynch.

Schrenk grounds to Bigham who flips to Carver for the force at 2nd. Inning over.

Morris with a weird blooper that falls between the pitcher and shortstop and he's safe at first. He hit that off the handle of the bat and it had some crazy backspin on it.

Reeves walks. 1st and 2nd, 1 out.

Carver lays down a sac bunt and the runners advance to 2nd and 3rd. He almost beat the throw. 2 outs.

Bigham with a hard line drive up the middle, but the 2nd baseman knocked it down and threw him out. Inning over.

Hogs lead 8-1 after 5.
