‘Bad Loss’ Arkansas Dealing With Bad Setback

Even in Arkansas’ struggles on the basketball court during the 2000s, we’d never seen a loss to the Razorback described as bad, until the past two weeks.

Both Ole Miss and Mississippi State, when their NCAA Tournament “resumes” were flashed on the screen of recent ESPN games, were shown with a “bad loss” to Arkansas.

Arkansas has its own bad loss that effectively ended any hopes that the Razorbacks could do something other than run the table at the SEC Tournament in Nashville and make the NCAA’s. The Wednesday night defeat at LSU set off the Hog faithful with a new round of teeth-gnashing over the state of the program, the ability of John Pelphrey to lead, the hopes of these Hogs next year when Michael Washington isn’t around, the way an injury kept him at home on Wednesday leading to an ignominous loss to the previously 0-11 (in the SEC) Tigers.
